2025 WOCP convention and school in Shepherdsville, Kentucky – the heart of the famed Kentucky Bluegrass region:
The pre-convention school runs September 22–24, followed by the convention and banquet September 24–26. Convention chair Debbie Higdon and her committee plan an art-filled celebration including three day classes at the school as well as workshops, demonstrations, door prizes, a shopper’s paradise with many vendors, and a Kentucky Derby-themed banquet with live auction. A cocktail reception will open the vendor area.
Save time to sight-see: Shepherdsville is just 15 miles south of Louisville. You may want to add time before or after the convention to enjoy some of the region’s attractions ranging from distilleries on the Bourbon Trail and local wineries to Churchill Downs - home of the Kentucky Derby; the elegant Belle of Louisville steamboat, the Kentucky Horse Park and the Ark Encounter life-size Noah’s Ark.
